At Iron City Studios, we don’t want to just take your picture. We want to create portraits that capture your spirit, personality, and joy. Please come prepared for your shoot, but also prepared to loosen up, have some fun, and show us who you are.
Book Your Photo Session
If you have a solid white, collared button-down shirt, please wear it to your photoshoot. You may also bring a solid black blazer. If you don’t have these items, the studio will provide them for your session. We offer jackets in sizes 18-66 and shirts in sizes Small through 3XL.
It is best to come to your photoshoot cleanly shaved or groomed. Removing stubble/stray hairs after your shoot will cost extra.
We encourage you to bring personal items like class rings.
Your formal drape is off-the-shoulders and will be provided to you.

Please come with your hair and makeup ready for your session. Please be aware that your nails will show in some of your photos.
Be sure to bring a legal guardian to your appointment so you can view your photos after your session.
These are taken at the time of your formal photos.
Bring just one casual outfit, and we recommend choosing something moderately dressy.
Avoid outfits that have busy patterns, stripes, or plaid. Solid colors will always photograph better.
We do not send home paper proofs.
You will receive an email when the photos are uploaded to our website and your student will be given an access code. If you don’t have one, please call the studio and we can provide it.
From the website you can view, select, and purchase your photos.
A $45 sitting fee is due at the time of your appointment. We accept cash, credit, and debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Cash App. We do not accept personal checks.
We work hard to ensure that you’re delighted with your portraits, but in the event of an error on our part, we are happy to make it right! However, being prepared for your session is key. If you were unprepared or didn’t like how you looked that day, you may be subject to a re-sitting fee.
We encourage students with special needs to please give us a call so we can make plans to accommodate time, accessibility, or other support requirements.
